Center Airbag Sensor Communication Stop Mode [10/2015 - ]: Procedure
- CHECK FOR OPEN IN CAN BUS LINES (AIRBAG ECU ASSEMBLY BRANCH LINE)
- Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
- Disconnect the D36 airbag ECU assembly connector.

(to Airbag ECU Assembly) - Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition D36-13 (CANH) - D36-22 (CANL) Cable disconnected from negative (-) battery terminal 54 to 69 Ω
Result:
NG
REPAIR OR REPLACE CAN BRANCH LINES OR CONNECTOR (AIRBAG ECU ASSEMBLY)
Result:
OK

- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (POWER SOURCE CIRCUIT)
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition D36-25 (E1) - Body ground Cable disconnected from negative (-) battery terminal Below 1 Ω D36-26 (E2) - Body ground Cable disconnected from negative (-) battery terminal Below 1 Ω - Reconnect the cable to the negative (-) battery terminal.
- Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
