ECU Power Source Circuit [10/2014 - ]: Procedure
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (TCM - BODY GROUND)
- Disconnect the TCM connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition B2-8 (E1) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω TEXT IN ILLUSTRATION*a Front view of wire harness connector

NG
REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
Result:
OK

- Disconnect the TCM connector.
- INSPECT ECU TERMINAL VOLTAGE (+B TERMINAL)
- Disconnect the TCM connector.
- Turn the engine switch on (IG).
- Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Voltage
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition B2-18 (+B) - Body ground Engine switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V TEXT IN ILLUSTRATION*a Front view of wire harness connector

OK
PROCEED TO NEXT SUSPECTED AREA SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE

- Disconnect the TCM connector.
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (TCM - INTEGRATION RELAY)
- Remove the integration relay from the engine room relay block and junction block assembly.
- Disconnect the integration relay connector.
- Disconnect the TCM connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance (Check for Open)
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition B2-18 (+B) - 1A-4 (+B) Always Below 1 Ω Standard Resistance (Check for Short)
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition B2-18 (+B) or 1A-4 (+B) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
Result:
OK
GO TO ECM POWER SOURCE CIRCUIT (ENGINE CONTROL SYSTEM / SFI SYSTEM)
