  2. CUSTOMER PROBLEM ANALYSIS 
    1. Interview the customer to confirm the trouble (Refer to HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [10/2014 - 10/2015] ).

  3. INSPECT BATTERY VOLTAGE 
    1. Measure the battery voltage.

      Standard Voltage

      11 to 14 V

      If the voltage is below 11 V, recharge or replace the battery before proceeding to the next step.

  4. INSPECT COMMUNICATION FUNCTION OF CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM* 
    1. Using the Techstream, check if the CAN communication system is functioning normally (Refer to DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM [10/2014 - 10/2015] ).

      CAN DTCs are output B

  5. CHECK DTC OUTPUT (AIRBAG SYSTEM)* 
    1. Clear DTCs (Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [10/2014 - ] ).
    2. Check for DTCs (Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [10/2014 - ] ).

      DTCs are output B

    GO TO AIRBAG SYSTEM

  6. CHECK DTC OUTPUT (OCCUPANT CLASSIFICATION SYSTEM)* 
    1. Clear DTCs (Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [10/2014 - ] ).
    2. Check for DTCs (Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [10/2014 - ] ).

    1. Check the operation of the speedometer, shift indicator and brake warning light on the combination meter assembly.
