- Check with the customer to determine if frequent braking has been performed.

- RECONFIRM DTC
- Clear the DTC (Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [08/2015 - 08/2019] , or refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [08/2019 - ] ).
- Turn the ignition switch off.
- Depress the brake pedal more than 40 times.
- Turn the ignition switch to ON.
- Wait for 99 seconds.
- Check if the same DTC is output (Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [08/2015 - 08/2019]
, or refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [08/2019 - ]

Result Proceed to DTC is output A Frequent braking was not performed and DTC is not output B Frequent braking was performed and DTC is not output C HINT:
Excessive brake pedal operation results in abnormal accumulator pressure consumption. This is normal.
