Disassembly [08/2015 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE SHIFT LEVER CAP 
  2. REMOVE POSITION INDICATOR HOUSING ASSEMBLY 
    1. Detach the 4 claws and remove the floor shift position indicator housing.

  3. REMOVE INDICATOR LIGHT WIRE SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Detach the wire connector clamp from the position indicator housing.

    2. Rotate the indicator light wire socket counterclockwise to align the key part and remove the wire.
    3. Remove the cap and bulb from the indicator light wire socket.

  4. REMOVE POSITION INDICATOR SLIDE COVER 
    1. Remove the position indicator slide cover together with No. 2 position indicator slide cover from the position indicator housing.

  5. REMOVE NO. 2 POSITION INDICATOR SLIDE COVER 
    1. Remove the No. 2 position indicator slide cover from the position indicator slide cover.

  6. REMOVE SHIFT LOCK CONTROL ECU SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Disconnect the shift lock solenoid connector from the shift lock control ECU.
    2. Detach the 3 claws and remove the shift lock control ECU from the transmission floor shift.
