DTC B1635/24: Rear Airbag Sensor LH Circuit Malfunction; DTC B1637/82: Lost Communication with Rear Airbag Sensor LH [07/2014 - ]: Procedure

1. Turn the ignition switch off.
2. Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
   WARNING:

   Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system.

3. Interchange the No. 2 side airbag sensor assembly LH with No. 2 side airbag sensor assembly RH and connect the connectors to them.

4. Connect the cable to the negative battery terminal, and wait for at least 2 seconds.
5. Turn the ignition switch to ON, and wait for at least 60 seconds.
6. Clear the DTCs stored in the memory. Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [07/2014 - ] .
7. Turn the ignition switch off.
8. Turn the ignition switch to ON, and wait for at least 60 seconds.
9. Check for DTCs. Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [07/2014 - ] .
   RESULT
   
   

   Result	Proceed to
   DTC B1630/23, B1632/81, B1635/24 and B1637/82 are not output	A
   DTC B1630/23 or B1632/81 is output (for 5 Door)	B
   DTC B1630/23 or B1632/81 is output (for 3 Door)	C
   DTC B1635/24 or B1637/82 is output	D

   HINT: 

   DTCs other than B1630/23, B1632/81, B1635/24 and B1637/82 may be output at this time, but they are not related to this check.

10. Turn the ignition switch off.
11. Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
    WARNING:

    Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system.

12. Return the No. 2 side airbag sensor assembly LH and the No. 2 side airbag sensor assembly RH to their original positions and connect the connectors to them.
