Front Fog Light Circuit [07/2014 - ]: Procedure

  1. PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING TECHSTREAM (FRONT FOG LIGHT RELAY) 
    1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
    2. Turn the ignition switch to ON.
    3. Turn the Techstream on.
    4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Main Body / Active Test.
    5. According to the display on the Techstream, perform the Active Test.
      MAIN BODY

      Tester Display Test Part Control Range Diagnostic Note
      Front Fog Light Relay Front Fog light relay OFF or ON Light Control switch is in TAIL or HEAD position

      OK

      FOG FR relay operates. (Fog lights illuminate.)

    NG → See step   2 

    OK → See step   4 

  2. REPLACE MAIN BODY ECU 
    1. Replace the main body ECU. Refer to REMOVAL [07/2014 - ] .

    NEXT: Go to next step 

  3. PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING TECHSTREAM (FRONT FOG LIGHT RELAY) 
    1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
    2. Turn the ignition switch to ON.
    3. Turn the Techstream on.
    4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Main Body / Active Test.
    5. According to the display on the Techstream, perform the Active Test.
      MAIN BODY

      Tester Display Test Part Control Range Diagnostic Note
      Front Fog Light Relay Front Fog light relay OFF or ON Light Control switch is in TAIL or HEAD position

      OK

      FOG FR relay operates. (Fog lights illuminate.)

    NG → REPLACE INSTRUMENT PANEL JUNCTION BLOCK ASSEMBLY 

    OK → END (MAIN BODY ECU WAS DEFECTIVE) 

  4. PROCEED TO NEXT SUSPECTED AREA SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE. Refer to  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE [07/2014 - ]
