DTC C1AA2: Vehicle Speed Tolerance Malfunction [12/2012 - 10/2015]: Procedure

  1. CHECK METER / GAUGE SYSTEM 
    1. Check the meter/gauge system is functioning normally.

      Refer to HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [12/2012 - ] .

      Result Proceed to
      Meter/gauge system is functioning normally
      Meter/gauge system is not functioning normally

    Result: 

    Meter/gauge system is not functioning normally 

    GO TO METER / GAUGE SYSTEM. Refer to  HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [12/2012 - ]  . 

    Result: 

    Meter/gauge system is functioning normally 

    See step  2

  2. CLEAR DTC 
    1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
    2. Turn the ignition switch to ON.
    3. Enter the following menus: Chassis / Lane Departure Alert / Clear DTCs.
    4. Clear the DTCs.

      Chassis > Lane Departure Alert > Clear DTCs 

    Result: 

    NEXT 

    See step  3

  3. CHECK FOR DTC 
    1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
    2. Turn the ignition switch to ON.
    3. Enter the following menus: Chassis / Lane Departure Alert / Trouble Codes.
    4. Check for DTCs.

      Chassis > Lane Departure Alert > Trouble Codes 

      Result Proceed to
      No DTCs are output
      DTC C1AA2 is output

    Result: 

    No DTCs are output 

    USE SIMULATION METHOD TO CHECK. Refer to  HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [12/2012 - 11/2013]  or  HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [11/2013 - 10/2015]  . 

    Result: 

    DTC C1AA2 is output 

    REPLACE LANE DEPARTURE WARNING CAMERA. Refer to  REMOVAL [12/2012 - 10/2015]  .
