DTC B150A: Lost Communication with HMI-LAN [10/2015 - ]: Procedure

1. Choose the model to be inspected.

1. Check for DTCs.

   Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [10/2015 - ] .

   Body Electrical > Navigation System > Trouble Codes 

   OK

   DTCs are not output.

GO TO NAVIGATION SYSTEM.  Refer to HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [10/2015 - ] .

1. Disconnect the G16 combination meter assembly connector.
2. Disconnect the G153 radio and display receiver assembly connector.
3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   G16-23 (MSCH) - G153-3 (CNH1)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   G16-22 (MSCL) - G153-4 (CNL1)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   G16-23 (MSCH) or G153-3 (CNH1) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher
   G16-22 (MSCL) or G153-4 (CNL1) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher

   Result	Proceed to
   	OK
   	NG

NG 

REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

Result: 

OK

1. Replace the combination meter assembly.

   Refer to REMOVAL [12/2012 - ] .

2. Turn the ignition switch to ON and wait 30 seconds.
   NOTE:

   A maximum of 30 seconds is required to send/receive the registration information between the combination meter assembly and radio receiver assembly.

3. Operate the steering pad switch assembly and check that the audio tab illuminates.

4. Check for DTCs.

   Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [12/2012 - ] .

   Body Electrical > Combination Meter > Trouble Codes 

   OK

   The audio tab illuminates and DTC B150A is not output.

END (COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY IS DEFECTIVE)

REPLACE NAVIGATION RECEIVER ASSEMBLY.  Refer to REMOVAL [10/2015 - ] .

1. Check for DTCs.

   Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [11/2013 - ] .

   Body Electrical > Navigation System > Trouble Codes 

   OK

   DTCs are not output.

   Result	Proceed to

GO TO AUDIO AND VISUAL SYSTEM. Refer to  HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [12/2012 - ]  .

2. Disconnect the G175 radio receiver assembly connector.
3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
