DTC P0A7F-123: Hybrid Battery Pack Deterioration [12/2014 - ]: Procedure

  1. CHECK DTC OUTPUT (HYBRID CONTROL) 
    1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
    2. Turn the ignition switch to ON (IG).
    3. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Hybrid Control / Trouble Codes.
    4. Check and record any HV system DTCs, INF codes and freeze frame data.
    5. Read output DTCs. Refer to DTC CHECK/CLEAR [12/2014 - ] .

      Result

      Result Proceed to
      P0AFC-123 is not output. A
      P0AFC-123 is also output. B
    6. Turn the ignition switch off.
    7. Disconnect the Techstream from the DLC3.

    A: Go to next step 

  2. CHECK BATTERY SMART UNIT See step   2 

    B → See step   4 

    A → See step   3 

  3. REPLACE BATTERY SMART UNIT. Refer to  COMPONENTS [12/2014 - ] 
  4. REPLACE HV BATTERY. Refer to  COMPONENTS [12/2014 - ] 
  5. GO TO DTC TABLE (P0AFC-123). Refer to  DTC P0AFC-123: Hybrid Battery Pack Sensor Module [12/2014 - ]
