Inspection Procedure

HINT: 

• If DTC P3147-240 is output, clear the DTCs, perform the following procedure, and check that the same DTC is not output after the repair.
  1. After DTC P3147-241 has been output, drive the vehicle at approximately 15 km/h (9 mph) or more for approximately 10 seconds or more while maintaining a stable vehicle speed.

     (If generator (MG1) does not rotate in this condition, DTC P3147-240 will be stored.)

• If DTC P3147-242 is output, clear the DTCs, perform the following procedure, and check that the same DTC is not output after the repair.
  1. When the vehicle is stopped, turn the ignition switch to ON (READY) and gradually depress the accelerator pedal so that the engine starts.
  2. Drive the vehicle at approximately 20km/h (12 mph) or more for approximately 10 seconds or more while maintaining the vehicle speed.
