Confirmation Driving Pattern

  1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
  2. Turn the ignition switch to ON (IG) and turn the Techstream on.
  3. Clear the DTCs (even if no DTCs are stored, perform the clear DTC procedure).
  4. Turn the ignition switch off and wait for 30 seconds or more.
  5. Turn the ignition switch to ON (READY).
  6. With the vehicle stopped and the shift lever in P, depress the accelerator pedal and start the engine. [A]
  7. Depress the accelerator pedal and keep the engine running for 30 seconds or more. [B]
  8. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Hybrid Control / Trouble Codes. [C]
  9. Read the current DTCs.

    HINT: 

    • If a current DTC is output, the system is malfunctioning.
    • If a current DTC is not output, perform the following procedure.
  10. Check that permanent DTCs are cleared. If no permanent DTC is output, the system is normal.
  11. If the permanent DTCs are not cleared, perform the universal trip, and then check for permanent DTCs again.
