- CHECK CONNECTOR CONNECTION CONDITION (HYBRID VEHICLE CONTROL ECU CONNECTOR)
- Check the connector connections and contact pressure of the relevant terminals for the hybrid vehicle control ECU connectors. Refer to ELECTRONIC CIRCUIT INSPECTION PROCEDURE [12/2014 - ]

The connectors are connected securely and there are no contact pressure problems.

- Check the connector connections and contact pressure of the relevant terminals for the hybrid vehicle control ECU connectors. Refer to ELECTRONIC CIRCUIT INSPECTION PROCEDURE [12/2014 - ]

- READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM (AUXILIARY BATT TEMPERATURE)
- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
- Turn the ignition switch to ON (IG).
- Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Hybrid Control / Data List / Auxiliary Batt Temperature.
- Read the Data List.
Result
Result Proceed to -40°C (-40°F) A 215°C (419°F) B Same as actual temperature C - Turn the ignition switch off.

- READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM (CHECK FOR OPEN)
- Disconnect connector M43 from the battery thermometer sensor.
- Connect terminals 2 (THB) and 1 (E2) of vehicle side connector M43 of the battery thermometer sensor.
- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
- Turn the ignition switch to ON (IG).
- Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Hybrid Control / Data List / Auxiliary Batt Temperature.
- Read the Data List.

- Disconnect connector M43 from the battery thermometer sensor.
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (HYBRID VEHICLE CONTROL ECU - BATTERY THERMOMETER SENSOR)
- Connect terminals 20 (THB) and 21 (ETHB) of connector G58 of the hybrid vehicle control ECU.
- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
- Turn the ignition switch to ON (IG).
- Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Hybrid Control / Data List / Auxiliary Batt Temperature.
- Read the Data List.

- Connect terminals 20 (THB) and 21 (ETHB) of connector G58 of the hybrid vehicle control ECU.
- READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM (CHECK FOR SHORT)
- Disconnect connector M43 from the battery thermometer sensor.
- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
- Turn the ignition switch to ON (IG).
- Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Hybrid Control / Data List / Auxiliary Batt Temperature.
- Read the Data List.

- Connect the battery thermometer sensor connector.

OK → REPLACE BATTERY THERMOMETER SENSOR
- Disconnect connector M43 from the battery thermometer sensor.
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (BATTERY THERMOMETER SENSOR - HYBRID VEHICLE CONTROL ECU)
- Disconnect connector M43 from the battery thermometer sensor.
- Disconnect connector G58 from the hybrid vehicle control ECU.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance (Check for Open)
