DTC P2756-7F: Torque Converter Clutch Pressure Control Solenoid Control Actuator Stuck Off [11/2016 - ]: Description
WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2019 Toyota Highlander, 2018 Toyota Highlander, and 2017 Toyota Highlander. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
The ECM controls the solenoid (SLU) valve using a predetermined current, and performs lock-up and flex lock-up control.
The ECM compares the engagement condition of the lock-up clutch with the lock-up schedule in the ECM memory to detect mechanical malfunctions of the solenoid (SLU) valve, transmission valve body assembly and torque converter assembly.

1. Diagnosis Condition 2. Malfunction Status 3. Malfunction Time 4. Other SLU stuck ON malfunction:
- Engine coolant temperature is 40°C (104°F) or higher, ATF temperature is -10°C (14°F) or higher, and the ECM sends a lock-up off request (no malfunctions are detected in the solenoid (SL1, SL2, SL3, SL4, SL5, SL6, SL, SLT and SLU) valves, transmission revolution sensors (NT, NC), engine coolant temperature sensor, ATF temperature sensor, knock control sensor, electronic throttle, crankshaft position sensor or CAN2)
- The difference between the input turbine speed (NT) and the engine speed (NE) is less than 35 rpm
- 1.8 seconds or more
- 2-trip detection logic
