DTC P1235: High Pressure Fuel Pump Circuit [11/2016 - ]: Procedure

- INSPECT FUEL PUMP ASSEMBLY (FOR HIGH PRESSURE SIDE)
- Inspect the fuel pump assembly (for high pressure side).
Refer to INSPECTION [11/2016 - ]
HINT:
Perform "Inspection After Repair" after replacing the fuel pump assembly (for high pressure side).
Refer to INITIALIZATION [11/2016 - ]

- Inspect the fuel pump assembly (for high pressure side).
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (INJECTOR DRIVER (EDU) - FUEL PUMP ASSEMBLY (FOR HIGH PRESSURE SIDE))
- Disconnect the injector driver (EDU) connector.
- Disconnect the fuel pump assembly (for high pressure side) connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance

- Disconnect the ECM connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

- Replace the injector driver (EDU).

- Replace the injector driver (EDU).
- CHECK WHETHER DTC OUTPUT RECURS (DTC P1235)
- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
- Turn the power switch on (IG).
- Turn the Techstream on.
- Clear the DTCs.
Powertrain > Engine and ECT > Clear DTCs
- Turn the power switch off and wait for at least 30 seconds.
- Turn the power switch on (IG).
- Turn the Techstream on.
- Drive the vehicle in accordance with the driving pattern described in the Confirmation Driving Pattern.
- Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine and ECT / Trouble Codes.
- Read the DTCs.
