Automatic High Beam Switch Circuit [11/2016 - ]: Procedure
- READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM
- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
- Turn the ignition switch to ON.
- Turn the Techstream on.
- Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Main Body / Data List.
- Read the Data List according to the display on the Techstream.
Body Electrical > Main Body > Data List
Tester Display Measurement Item Range Normal Condition Diagnostic Note Auto High Beam Main Switch Automatic high beam switch signal OFF or ON OFF: Automatic high beam switch not pressed
ON: Automatic high beam switch pressed- Body Electrical > Main Body > Data List

- INSPECT AUTO HIGH BEAM SWITCH
- Remove the auto high beam switch.

- Inspect the auto high beam switch.
Refer to INSPECTION [12/2013 - ]

REPLACE AUTO HIGH BEAM SWITCH. Refer to REMOVAL [12/2013 - ]

- Remove the auto high beam switch.
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (AUTO HIGH BEAM SWITCH - MAIN BODY ECU (MULTIPLEX NETWORK BODY ECU) AND BODY GROUND)
- Disconnect the F18 main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
