DTC C2179/79: Tire Pressure Monitor ECU Communication Stop [09/2014 - ]: Procedure

1. Disconnect the tire pressure warning ECU and receiver O25, O33 or N41 connector and main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) I13 connector.
2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   O25-5 (PRG) - I13-4 (PRG)*1 O33-5 (PRG) - I13-4 (PRG)*2 N41-5 (PRG) - I13-4 (PRG)*3	Always	Below 1 Ω
   O25-5 (PRG) - Body ground*1 O33-5 (PRG) - Body ground*2 N41-5 (PRG) - Body ground*3	Always	10 kΩ or higher

   • *1: w/o Intuitive Parking Assist System with Smart Key System
   • *2: w/o Intuitive Parking Assist System without Smart Key System
   • *3: w/ Intuitive Parking Assist System

NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

OK: Go to next step 

1. Replace the tire pressure warning ECU and receiver. Refer to REMOVAL [09/2014 - ] .

NEXT: Go to next step 

1. Clear the DTCs. Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [09/2014 - ] .
2. Turn the ignition switch off.
3. Turn the ignition switch to ON.
4. Check for DTCs. Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [09/2014 - ] .

   OK

   DTC C2179/79 is not output.
