DTC C2179/79: Tire Pressure Monitor ECU Communication Stop [09/2014 - ]: Procedure
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (TIRE PRESSURE WARNING ECU AND RECEIVER - MAIN BODY ECU [MULTIPLEX NETWORK BODY ECU)]
- Disconnect the tire pressure warning ECU and receiver O25, O33 or N41 connector and main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) I13 connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK: Go to next step
- REPLACE TIRE PRESSURE WARNING ECU AND RECEIVER
- Replace the tire pressure warning ECU and receiver. Refer to REMOVAL [09/2014 - ] .
NEXT: Go to next step
- CHECK DTC OUTPUT
- Clear the DTCs. Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [09/2014 - ] .
- Turn the ignition switch off.
- Turn the ignition switch to ON.
- Check for DTCs. Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [09/2014 - ]
