ECU Power Source Circuit [09/2014 - ]: Procedure

  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (ECU - BATTERY AND BODY GROUND) 
    1. Disconnect the O25, O33 or N41 ECU connector.

    2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage

      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
      O25-1 (IG) - Body ground*1
      O33-1 (IG) - Body ground*2
      N41-1 (IG) - Body ground*3
      Ignition switch ON 10 to 16 V
      Ignition switch off Below 1 V
      • *1: w/o Intuitive Parking Assist System with Smart Key System
      • *2: w/o Intuitive Parking Assist System without Smart Key System
      • *3: w/ Intuitive Parking Assist System
    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      O25-12 (GND) - Body ground*1
      O33-12 (GND) - Body ground*2
      N41-12 (GND) - Body ground*3
      Always Below 1 Ω
      • *1: w/o Intuitive Parking Assist System with Smart Key System
      • *2: w/o Intuitive Parking Assist System without Smart Key System
      • *3: w/ Intuitive Parking Assist System

      *C w/ Intuitive Parking Assist System
      *a Front view of wire harness connector
      (to Tire Pressure Warning ECU and Receiver)

    NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

    OK → See step   2 

  2. REPLACE TIRE PRESSURE WARNING ECU AND RECEIVER. Refer to  REMOVAL [09/2014 - ]
