Speed Signal Circuit [09/2014 - ]: Procedure
- INSPECT ECU TERMINAL VOLTAGE (INPUT VOLTAGE)
- Disconnect the I18 combination meter assembly connector.
- Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

- Reconnect the I18 combination meter assembly connector.
- Disconnect the A49*1 or A94*2 brake actuator assembly (skid control ECU) connector.
- *1: for 2AR-FE (w/o Dynamic Radar Cruise Control System)
- *2: for 2AR-FE (w/ Dynamic Radar Cruise Control System), 2GR-FE
- Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

- Check the input waveform.
- Reconnect the A49*1 or A94*2 brake actuator assembly (skid control ECU) connector.
- *1: for 2AR-FE (w/o Dynamic Radar Cruise Control System)
- *2: for 2AR-FE (w/ Dynamic Radar Cruise Control System), 2GR-FE
- Remove the combination meter assembly with the connector(s) still connected.
- Connect an oscilloscope to terminal I18-8 (SI)*3 or I18-4 (SI)*4 and body ground.

- Turn the ignition switch to ON.
- Turn the wheel slowly.
- Check the signal waveform according to the condition(s) in the table below.

HINT:
When the system is functioning normally, one wheel revolution generates 4 pulses. As the vehicle speed increases, the width indicated by (A) in the illustration narrows.

- Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
