DTC B150A: Lost Communication with HMI-LAN [09/2014 - ]: Procedure

1. Choose the model to be inspected.

1. Check if navigation system DTCs are output. Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [09/2014 - ] .

1. Disconnect the I18 combination meter assembly connector.
2. Disconnect the I177 navigation receiver assembly connector.
3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   I18-19 (MSCL) - I177-4 (CNL1)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   I18-18 (MSCH) - I177-3 (CNH1)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   I18-19 (MSCL) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher
   I18-18 (MSCH) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher

NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

OK: Go to next step 

1. Replace the combination meter assembly with a new or known good one. Refer to REMOVAL [09/2014 - ] .
2. Turn the ignition switch to ON and wait 30 seconds.
   NOTE:

   A maximum of 30 seconds is required to send/receive the registration information between the combination meter assembly and navigation receiver assembly.

3. Operate the steering pad switch assembly and check that the audio tab illuminates.
4. Check for DTCs. Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [09/2014 - ] .

   Result

3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

OK: Go to next step
