- CHECK FOR DTC
- Clear the DTCs. Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [09/2014 - ] .
- Check for DTCs. Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [09/2014 - ]

- READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM
- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
- Turn the ignition switch to ON.
- Turn the Techstream on.
- Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / HL Auto Leveling / Data List.
- Read the display on the Techstream.HL AUTO LEVELING

- INSPECT REAR HEIGHT CONTROL SENSOR SUB-ASSEMBLY
- Remove the rear height control sensor sub-assembly. Refer to REMOVAL [09/2014 - ] .
- Inspect the rear height control sensor sub-assembly. Refer to INSPECTION [09/2014 - ] .

- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (HEADLIGHT LEVELING ECU ASSEMBLY - REAR HEIGHT CONTROL SENSOR)
- Disconnect the A34 headlight leveling ECU assembly connector.
- Disconnect the O17 rear height control sensor sub-assembly connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition A34-19 (SHRL) - O17-2 (SHRR) Always Below 1 Ω A34-19 (SHRL) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
