DTC B1585: USB Device Malfunction [09/2014 - ]: Procedure

REPLACE USB DEVICE OR "iPod"
1. Disconnect the USB device or "iPod" from the No. 1 stereo jack adapter assembly.
2. Turn the ignition switch off.
  HINT:
  
  When this DTC has been stored, it is necessary to turn the ignition switch to off to make it possible for the vehicle to recognize a new device when it is connected.
3. Turn the ignition switch to ACC.
4. Connect a known good USB device or "iPod" to the No. 1 stereo jack adapter assembly.
  HINT:
  - If the malfunction occurred when a USB device was in use, use another USB device for the inspection. If the malfunction occurred when an "iPod" was in use, use another "iPod" for the inspection.
  - Refer to System Description for compatible formats and versions. Refer to SYSTEM DESCRIPTION [09/2014 - ] .
NEXT: Go to next step
CHECK DTC
1. Clear the DTCs. Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [09/2014 - ] .
2. Recheck for DTCs and check that no DTCs are output.
  OK
  
  No DTCs are output.
NG → See step 3

OK → END (USB DEVICE FORMAT WAS INCOMPATIBLE, "iPod" VERSION WAS INCOMPATIBLE, OR USB DEVICE OR "iPod" WAS DEFECTIVE)
