Inspection Procedure

NOTE:
  • When the lane departure warning camera is replaced with a new one, adjustment of the lane departure warning camera axis must be performed. Refer to ADJUSTMENT [09/2014 - ] .
  • When replacing the lane departure warning camera, always replace it with a new one. If a lane departure warning camera which was installed to another vehicle is used, the information stored in the lane departure warning camera will not match the information from the vehicle. As a result, a DTC may be stored.
  • The lane departure alert system uses the CAN communication system. Inspect the communication function by following How to Proceed with Troubleshooting. Troubleshooting the lane departure alert system after confirming that the communication systems are functioning properly.
