Ambient Light Switch Circuit [10/2014 - ]: Procedure

1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).
3. Turn the Techstream on.
4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Main Body / Data List.
5. Read the Data List according to the display on the Techstream.
   MAIN BODY

   Normal conditions listed above are displayed.

PROCEED TO NEXT SUSPECTED AREA SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE 

(Refer to PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE [10/2014 - ] )

Result: 

NG 

See step  2

1. Remove the roof console box assembly (Refer to REMOVAL [10/2014 - ] ).
2. Inspect the mood switch on the roof console box assembly (Refer to INSPECTION [10/2014 - ] ).

   OK

   Mood switch on the roof console box assembly is normal.

Result: 

NG 

REPLACE ROOF CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY 

(Refer to REMOVAL [10/2014 - ] )

Result: 

OK

1. Disconnect the D5 main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) connector.
2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   N6-11 (+B1) - D5-27 (ILSW)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   N6-11 (+B1) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher
   N6-1 (GND) - Body ground	Always	Below 1 Ω

Result: 

OK 

REPLACE MAIN BODY ECU (MULTIPLEX NETWORK BODY ECU)

Result: 

NG 

REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
