Hazard Warning Switch Circuit [10/2014 - ]: Procedure

1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).
3. Turn the Techstream on.
4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Combination Meter / Data List.
5. Read the display on the Techstream.

NG

1. Remove the hazard warning signal switch assembly (Refer to REMOVAL [10/2014 - ] ).
2. Inspect the hazard warning signal switch assembly (Refer to INSPECTION [10/2014 - ] ).

Result: 

NG 

REPLACE HAZARD WARNING SIGNAL SWITCH ASSEMBLY 

(Refer to REMOVAL [10/2014 - ] )

Result: 

OK

1. Disconnect the D8 combination meter assembly connector.
2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   D53-4 (F) - D8-5 (HAZ)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   D53-4 (F) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher
   D53-1 (E) - Body ground	Always	Below 1 Ω

Result: 

OK 

REPLACE COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY
