Hazard Warning Switch Circuit [10/2014 - ]: Procedure
- READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM
- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
- Turn the engine switch on (IG).
- Turn the Techstream on.
- Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Combination Meter / Data List.
- Read the display on the Techstream.COMBINATION METER

- Remove the hazard warning signal switch assembly (Refer to REMOVAL [10/2014 - ] ).
- Inspect the hazard warning signal switch assembly (Refer to INSPECTION [10/2014 - ] ).

REPLACE HAZARD WARNING SIGNAL SWITCH ASSEMBLY

- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (HAZARD WARNING SIGNAL SWITCH ASSEMBLY - COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY AND BODY GROUND)
- Disconnect the D8 combination meter assembly connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition D53-4 (F) - D8-5 (HAZ) Always Below 1 Ω D53-4 (F) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher D53-1 (E) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
