Check Bus 3 Lines for Short Circuit [10/2015 - ]: Description

There may be a short circuit between the bus 3 main lines and/or bus 3 branch lines when the resistance between terminals 6 (CA3H) and 21 (CA3L) of the central gateway ECU is below 54 Ω.

Symptom Trouble Area
Resistance between terminals 6 (CA3H) and 21 (CA3L) of the central gateway ECU is below 54 Ω.
  • Short in bus 3 main lines
  • Short in bus 3 branch lines
  • Navigation ECU sub-assembly*1
  • Radio and display receiver assembly*2
  • No. 7 CAN junction connector
