DTC C1A41: Brake Request Value Mismatch between ENG / EHV and Driving Support ECU [10/2014 - 10/2015]: Procedure

1. Check for electronically controlled brake system DTCs (Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [10/2014 - ] ).

   OK

   Electronically controlled brake system DTCs are not output.

Result: 

NG 

GO TO ELECTRONICALLY CONTROLLED BRAKE SYSTEM 

(Refer to HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [10/2014 - 10/2015] )

Result: 

OK

1. Check for hybrid control system DTCs (Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [10/2014 - 10/2015] ).

   OK

   Hybrid control system DTCs are not output.

Result: 

NG 

GO TO HYBRID CONTROL SYSTEM 

(Refer to HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [10/2014 - ] )

Result: 

OK

1. Replace the brake booster with master cylinder assembly (skid control ECU) (Refer to COMPONENTS [10/2014 - ] ).

Result: 

NEXT

1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
2. Turn the power switch on (IG).
3. Turn the Techstream on.
4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Pre-Collision 2 / Trouble Codes.
5. Clear the DTCs (Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [10/2014 - 10/2015] ).
6. Recheck for DTCs.

   OK

   DTC C1A41 is not output.

Result: 

OK 

END (BRAKE BOOSTER WITH MASTER CYLINDER ASSEMBLY (SKID CONTROL ECU) WAS DEFECTIVE)

NG

1. Replace the power management control ECU (Refer to COMPONENTS [10/2014 - 10/2015] ).
