DTC B2006: Short to GND in Seat Belt Motor LH Circuit [10/2014 - 10/2015]: Procedure

1. Disconnect the J3 front seat outer belt assembly LH connector.

   HINT: 

   Do not remove the front seat outer belt assembly LH.

2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   J3-1 - Body ground	Always	1 MΩ or higher
   J3-2 - Body ground	Always	1 MΩ or higher

   *a	Component without harness connected (Front Seat Outer Belt Assembly LH)

   WARNING:

   Do not check the wrong connector.

Result: 

NG 

REPLACE FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY LH 

(Refer to COMPONENTS [10/2014 - 10/2015] )

Result: 

OK 

See step  2

1. Disconnect the D26 seat belt control ECU connector.
2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   D26-3 (MOL+) - Body ground	Always	1 MΩ or higher
   D26-4 (MOL-) - Body ground	Always	1 MΩ or higher

Result: 

OK 

REPLACE SEAT BELT CONTROL ECU 

(Refer to COMPONENTS [10/2014 - 10/2015] )

Result: 

NG 

REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR (FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY LH - SEAT BELT CONTROL ECU)
