DTC B2005: Short to B+ in Seat Belt Motor LH Circuit [10/2014 - 10/2015]: Procedure

1. Disconnect the J3 front seat outer belt assembly LH connector.

   HINT: 

   Do not remove the front seat outer belt assembly LH.

2. Turn the power switch on (IG).
3. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Voltage

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   J3-1 - Body ground	Power switch on (IG)	Below 1 V
   J3-2 - Body ground	Power switch on (IG)	Below 1 V

   WARNING:

   Do not check the wrong connector.

Result: 

NG 

REPLACE FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY LH 

(Refer to COMPONENTS [10/2014 - 10/2015] )

Result: 

OK 

See step  2

1. Disconnect the D26 seat belt control ECU connector.
2. Turn the power switch on (IG).
3. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Voltage

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   D26-3 (MOL+) - Body ground	Power switch on (IG)	Below 1 V
   D26-4 (MOL-) - Body ground	Power switch on (IG)	Below 1 V

Result: 

OK 

REPLACE SEAT BELT CONTROL ECU 

(Refer to COMPONENTS [10/2014 - 10/2015] )

Result: 

NG 

REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR (FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY LH - SEAT BELT CONTROL ECU)
