DTC B2001: Short to GND in Seat Belt Motor RH Circuit [10/2014 - 10/2015]: Procedure

1. Disconnect the K3 front seat outer belt assembly RH connector.

   HINT: 

   Do not remove the front seat outer belt assembly RH.

2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   K3-1 - Body ground	Always	1 MΩ or higher
   K3-2 - Body ground	Always	1 MΩ or higher

   *a	Component without harness connected (Front Seat Outer Belt Assembly RH)

   WARNING:

   Do not check the wrong connector.

Result: 

NG 

REPLACE FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY RH 

(Refer to COMPONENTS [10/2014 - 10/2015] )

Result: 

OK 

See step  2

1. Disconnect the D26 seat belt control ECU connector.
2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   D26-1 (MOR-) - Body ground	Always	1 MΩ or higher
   D26-2 (MOR+) - Body ground	Always	1 MΩ or higher

Result: 

OK 

REPLACE SEAT BELT CONTROL ECU 

(Refer to COMPONENTS [10/2014 - 10/2015] )

Result: 

NG 

REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
