1. Check that the service plug grip is not installed.
   NOTE:

   After removing the service plug grip, do not turn the power switch on (READY), unless otherwise instructed because this may cause a malfunction.

2. Disconnect the A50 inverter with converter assembly connector.
3. Disconnect the A68 hybrid vehicle control ECU assembly connector.
4. Measure the resistance according to the value (s) in the table below.

   Front view of wire harness connector (to Inverter with Converter Assembly)

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   A68-12 (HSDN) or A50-40 (HSDN) - Body ground and other terminals	Power switch off	10 kΩ or higher
   A68-12 (HSDN) - A50-40 (HSDN)	Power switch off	Below 1 Ω

5. Reconnect the A68 hybrid vehicle control ECU assembly connector.
6. Reconnect the A50 inverter with converter assembly connector.

NG 

REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

OK

1. Check that the service plug grip is not installed.
   NOTE:

   After removing the service plug grip, do not turn the power switch on (READY), unless otherwise instructed because this may cause a malfunction.

2. Disconnect the A50 inverter with converter assembly connector.
3. Measure the resistance according to the value (s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   A50-40 (HSDN) - A50-10 (GND1)	Power switch off	2.65 to 3.55 kΩ

4. Reconnect the A50 inverter with converter assembly connector.

OK 

REPLACE HYBRID VEHICLE CONTROL ECU ASSEMBLY

NG 

REPLACE INVERTER WITH CONVERTER ASSEMBLY 

(Refer to COMPONENTS [10/2014 - ] )
