- Read the Data List.

- Disconnect the K24 thermistor assembly connector.
- Connect terminals 2 (THB) and 1 (E2) of vehicle side connector K24 of the thermistor assembly.

- Turn the power switch on (IG).
- Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Hybrid Control / Data List / Auxiliary Batt Temperature.
- Read the Data List.

Power switch on (IG)215°C (419°F) - Turn the power switch off.
- Reconnect the K24 thermistor assembly connector.

- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (POWER MANAGEMENT CONTROL ECU - THERMISTOR ASSEMBLY)
- Connect terminals 28 (THB) and 30 (ETHB) of connector D104 of the power management control ECU.

(Power Management Control ECU) - Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
- Turn the power switch on (IG).
- Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Hybrid Control / Data List / Auxiliary Batt Temperature.
- Read the Data List.

- Connect terminals 28 (THB) and 30 (ETHB) of connector D104 of the power management control ECU.
- READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM (CHECK FOR SHORT)
- Disconnect the K24 thermistor assembly connector.
- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
- Turn the power switch on (IG).
- Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Hybrid Control / Data List / Auxiliary Batt Temperature.
- Read the Data List.
Result
Tester Display Condition Specified Condition Auxiliary Batt Temperature Power switch on (IG) -40°C (-40°F) - Turn the power switch off.
- Reconnect the K24 thermistor assembly connector.

REPLACE THERMISTOR ASSEMBLY

- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (THERMISTOR ASSEMBLY - POWER MANAGEMENT CONTROL ECU)
- Disconnect the K24 thermistor assembly connector.
- Disconnect the D104 power management control ECU connector.

(to Power Management Control ECU) - Measure the resistance according to the value (s) in the table below.

Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition K24-2 (THB) or D104-28 (THB) - Body ground and other terminals Power switch off 10 kΩ or higher K24-1 (E2) or D104-30 (ETHB) - Body ground and other terminals Power switch off 10 kΩ or higher - Reconnect the D104 power management control ECU connector.
- Reconnect the K24 thermistor assembly connector.
