    Result:

    OK

    See step  5

  5. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (POWER MANAGEMENT CONTROL ECU - COMPRESSOR WITH MOTOR ASSEMBLY)
    1. Disconnect the A53 power management control ECU connector.
    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      B58-1 (CLK) - A53-19 (CLK) Always Below 1 Ω
      B58-2 (DIN) - A53-31 (ITE) Always Below 1 Ω
      B58-3 (DOUT) - A53-30 (ETI) Always Below 1 Ω
B58-1 (CLK) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
B58-2 (DIN) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
B58-3 (DOUT) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

    Result:

    NG

REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

    Result:

    OK

    See step  6

  6. INSPECT ELECTRIC VEHICLE FUSE
    WARNING:

Be sure to wear insulated gloves.

    1. Turn the power switch off.
    2. Remove the service plug grip (Refer to REMOVAL [10/2014 - ] ).
      WARNING:

Do not touch the high-voltage connectors or terminals for 10 minutes after the service plug grip is removed.

      NOTE:

After removing the service plug grip, turning the power switch on (READY) may cause a malfunction. Do not turn the power switch on (READY) with the service plug grip removed.

    3. Remove the connector cover assembly (Refer to REMOVAL [10/2014 - ] ).
      NOTE:

Be sure to prevent foreign matter or water from entering the inverter with converter assembly.

    4. Check that bolts A and B are tightened securely.
