ECO Switch Circuit [10/2014 - ]: Procedure

1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
2. Turn the power switch on (IG).
3. Turn the Techstream on.
4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Air Conditioner / Data List.
5. Check the value(s) by referring to the table below.
   AIR CONDITIONER

   ECO Switch	Combination switch assembly (ECO switch) / OFF or ON	Combination switch assembly (ECO switch) not operated: OFF	-
   		Combination switch assembly (ECO switch) operated: ON

   OK

   Combination switch assembly (ECO switch) condition displayed on the Techstream changes with the actual switch operation.

Result: 

OK 

PROCEED TO NEXT SUSPECTED AREA SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE 

(Refer to PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE [10/2014 - 10/2015] or PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE [10/2015 - ] )

Result: 

NG

1. Remove the combination switch assembly (ECO switch) (Refer to REMOVAL [10/2014 - ] ).
2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   2 (ECU) - 3 (E)	Combination switch assembly (ECO switch) off (when switch is not pressed)	10 kΩ or higher
   2 (ECU) - 3 (E)	Combination switch assembly (ECO switch) on (when switch is pressed)	Below 1 Ω

2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   D62-4 (ECOS) - D107-2 (ECU)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   D62-4 (ECOS) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher

Result: 

NG 

REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

OK

1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance
