DTC C1AAC: Vehicle Information Unmatched [10/2015 - ]: Procedure

  1. CHECK FOR DTCs (CAN COMMUNICATION DTC OUTPUT) 

    HINT: 

    The forward recognition camera communicates with the hybrid vehicle control ECU assembly via CAN communication. Confirm that the CAN communication system is functioning normally before proceeding.

    1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
    2. Turn the power switch on (IG).
    3. Turn the Techstream on.
    4. Enter the following menus: Chassis / LKA/LDA / Trouble Codes.
    5. Check for DTCs.

      Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [10/2015 - ]

      Result

      Result Proceed to
      DTC U0293 is not output A
      DTC U0293 is output B

    Result: 

    GO TO CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM. Refer to  HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [10/2015 - ]

  2. READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM 
    1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
    2. Turn the power switch on (IG).
    3. Turn the Techstream on.
    4. Enter the following menus: Chassis / Front Recognition Camera / Data List.
    5. Read the Data List according to the display on the Techstream.
      CHASSIS > FRONT RECOGNITION CAMERA > DATA LIST

      HINT: 

      • The vehicle information stored in the forward recognition camera is displayed on the Data List.
      • If the vehicle information stored in the forward recognition camera is different from the actual vehicle specifications, the vehicle information stored in the forward recognition camera may be incorrect. Check for DTCs and replace the forward recognition camera if necessary.
      • If the vehicle information stored in the forward recognition camera matches the actual vehicle specifications, the installed hybrid vehicle control ECU assembly is incompatible. Replace the hybrid vehicle control ECU assembly with a correct one.

  3. CHECK FOR DTCs (LANE DEPARTURE ALERT SYSTEM) 
    1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
    2. Turn the power switch on (IG).
    3. Turn the Techstream on.
    4. Enter the following menus: Chassis / LKA/LDA / Trouble Codes.
    5. Clear the DTCs.

      Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [10/2015 - ]

    6. Perform the following procedure.

      HINT: 

      If the following procedure is not performed, the previously output DTC cannot be detected.

      1. Turn the power switch on (IG) and wait 2 seconds or more.
    7. Check for DTCs.

      Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [10/2015 - ]

      DTC C1AAC is output B

    Result: 

    USE SIMULATION METHOD TO CHECK. Refer to  HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [10/2015 - ]

    REPLACE FORWARD RECOGNITION CAMERA. Refer to  COMPONENTS [10/2015 - ]
