DTC C1AA1: FCM Destination Information Unmatched [10/2015 - ]: Procedure

  1. CHECK FOR DTCs (LANE DEPARTURE ALERT SYSTEM) 

    HINT: 

    When DTC C1AA1 is stored, lane departure alert system DTC C1AAC may be stored at the same time.

    1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
    2. Turn the power switch on (IG).
    3. Turn the Techstream on.
    4. Enter the following menus: Chassis / LKA/LDA / Trouble Codes.
    5. Check for DTCs.

      Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [10/2015 - ]

      Result

      Result Proceed to
      DTC C1AAC is not output A
      DTC C1AAC is output B

    Result: 

    GO TO DTC CHART (C1AAC). Refer to  DTC C1AAC: Vehicle Information Unmatched [10/2015 - ] 

    Result:

  2. CHECK FOR DTCs (CAN COMMUNICATION DTC OUTPUT) 

    HINT: 

    The forward recognition camera communicates with the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) via CAN communication. Confirm that the CAN communication system is functioning normally before proceeding.

    1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
    2. Turn the power switch on (IG).
    3. Turn the Techstream on.
    4. Enter the following menus: Chassis / Front Recognition Camera / Trouble Codes.
    5. Check for DTCs.

      Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [10/2015 - ]

      Result

      Result Proceed to
      DTC U0142 is not output A
      DTC U0142 is output B

    Result: 

    GO TO CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM. Refer to  HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [10/2015 - ] 

    Result:

  3. CHECK FOR DTCs (FORWARD RECOGNITION CAMERA SYSTEM) 
    1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
    2. Turn the power switch on (IG).
    3. Turn the Techstream on.
    4. Enter the following menus: Chassis / Front Recognition Camera / Trouble Codes.
    5. Clear the DTCs.

      Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [10/2015 - ]

    6. Perform the following procedure.

      HINT: 

      If the following procedure is not performed, the previously output DTC cannot be detected.

      1. Turn the power switch on (IG) and wait 7 seconds or more.
    7. Check for DTCs.

      Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [10/2015 - ]

      Result

      Result Proceed to
      DTC C1AA1 is not output A
      DTC C1AA1 is output B

    Result: 

    USE SIMULATION METHOD TO CHECK. Refer to  HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [10/2015 - ]

  4. REPLACE FORWARD RECOGNITION CAMERA 
    1. Replace the forward recognition camera.

      Refer to REMOVAL [10/2015 - ]

    2. Perform Forward Recognition Camera Learning.

      Refer to ADJUSTMENT [10/2015 - ]

    Result:

  5. CHECK FOR DTCs (FORWARD RECOGNITION CAMERA SYSTEM) 
    1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
    2. Turn the power switch on (IG).
    3. Turn the Techstream on.
    4. Enter the following menus: Chassis / Front Recognition Camera / Trouble Codes.
    5. Clear the DTCs.

      Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [10/2015 - ]

    6. Perform the following procedure.

      HINT: 

      If the following procedure is not performed, the previously output DTC cannot be detected.

      1. Turn the power switch on (IG) and wait 7 seconds or more.
    7. Check for DTCs.

      Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [10/2015 - ]

      Result

      Result Proceed to
      DTC C1AA1 is not output A
      DTC C1AA1 is output B

    Result: 

    END (FORWARD RECOGNITION CAMERA WAS DEFECTIVE) 

    Result: 

    REPLACE MAIN BODY ECU (MULTIPLEX NETWORK BODY ECU). Refer to  COMPONENTS [10/2014 - ]
