DTC P0010: Camshaft Position "A" Actuator Circuit (Bank 1) [10/2014 - ]: Procedure

1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
2. Turn the power switch on (IG).
3. Turn the Techstream on.
4. Clear the DTC after recording the freeze frame data and DTC.
5. Turn the power switch off and wait for at least 30 seconds.
6. Turn the Techstream on.
7. Put the engine in inspection mode (maintenance mode) (Refer to INSPECTION MODE PROCEDURE [10/2014 - ] ).
8. Start the engine and allow the engine to idle.
9. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine and ECT / Trouble Codes.
10. Read the DTCs.

CHECK FOR INTERMITTENT PROBLEMS

1. Inspect the camshaft timing oil control valve assembly (Refer to INSPECTION [10/2014 - ] ).

Result: 

NG 

REPLACE CAMSHAFT TIMING OIL CONTROL VALVE ASSEMBLY 

(Refer to REMOVAL [10/2014 - ] )

Result: 

OK 

See step  3

1. Disconnect the camshaft timing oil control valve assembly connector.
2. Disconnect the ECM connector.
3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   B57-1 - B51-74 (OC1+)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   B57-2 - B51-75 (OC1-)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   B57-1 or B51-74 (OC1+) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher
   B57-2 or B51-75 (OC1-) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher

Result: 

OK 

REPLACE ECM
