Reassembly [10/2014 - ]: Procedure

  1. INSTALL NO. 1 REAR BUMPER REINFORCEMENT 
    1. Install the No. 1 rear bumper reinforcement with the 6 nuts.

      Torque: 61 N*m (622 kgf*cm, 45 ft.*lbf) 

  2. INSTALL REAR BUMPER ENERGY ABSORBER 
    1. Engage the 2 guides to install the rear bumper energy absorber.

  3. INSTALL REAR BUMPER SIDE SEAL LH 
    1. Engage the guide and claw.

    2. Install the screw.

    3. Install the screw.

    4. Install the screw.

    5. Install the rear bumper side seal LH with the 2 grommets.

  4. INSTALL REAR BUMPER SIDE SEAL RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  5. INSTALL REAR BUMPER SIDE RETAINER LH 
    1. Engage the 6 claws.

    2. Engage the 4 clips as shown in the illustration to install the rear bumper side retainer LH.

  6. INSTALL REAR BUMPER SIDE RETAINER RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  7. INSTALL REAR BUMPER MOULDING 
    1. Engage the 3 claws.

    2. Install the rear bumper moulding with the 6 screws.

  8. INSTALL LOWER REAR BUMPER COVER 
    1. Engage the 2 guides and 8 claws.

    2. Install the 2 outside moulding retainers.
    3. Install the lower rear bumper cover with the 2 screws and 2 clips.

  9. INSTALL REFLEX REFLECTOR ASSEMBLY LH 
    1. Engage the guide.

    2. Install the reflex reflector assembly LH with the screw.
  10. INSTALL REFLEX REFLECTOR ASSEMBLY RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  11. INSTALL REAR BUMPER PAD LH 
    1. Wipe off any tape adhesive residue with cleaner.
    2. Install a new rear bumper pad LH.

      HINT: 

      Stick the new rear bumper pad LH on the line marked on the rear bumper assembly.

  12. INSTALL REAR BUMPER PAD RH 
    1. Wipe off any tape adhesive residue with cleaner.
    2. Install a new rear bumper pad RH.

      HINT: 

      Stick the new rear bumper pad RH on the line marked on the rear bumper assembly.
