Disassembly [10/2014 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE REAR BUMPER PAD LH 
    1. Remove the rear bumper pad LH.

  2. REMOVE REAR BUMPER PAD RH 
    1. Remove the rear bumper pad RH.

  3. REMOVE REFLEX REFLECTOR ASSEMBLY LH 
    1. Remove the screw.

    2. Disengage the guide to remove the reflex reflector assembly LH.
  4. REMOVE REFLEX REFLECTOR ASSEMBLY RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  5. REMOVE LOWER REAR BUMPER COVER 
    1. Remove the 2 screws and 2 clips.

    2. Remove the 2 outside moulding retainers.

    3. Disengage the 8 claws and 2 guides to remove the lower rear bumper cover.
  6. REMOVE REAR BUMPER MOULDING 
    1. Remove the 6 screws.

    2. Disengage the 3 claws to remove the rear bumper moulding.

  7. REMOVE REAR BUMPER SIDE RETAINER LH 
    1. Using a screwdriver, disengage the 4 clips as shown in the illustration.

    2. Disengage the 6 claws to remove the rear bumper side retainer LH.

  8. REMOVE REAR BUMPER SIDE RETAINER RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  9. REMOVE REAR BUMPER SIDE SEAL LH 
    1. Remove the 2 grommets.

    2. Remove the screw.

    3. Remove the screw.

    4. Remove the screw.

    5. Disengage the guide and claw to remove the rear bumper side seal LH.

  10. REMOVE REAR BUMPER SIDE SEAL RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  11. REMOVE REAR BUMPER ENERGY ABSORBER 
    1. Disengage the 2 guides to remove the rear bumper energy absorber.

  12. REMOVE NO. 1 REAR BUMPER REINFORCEMENT 
    1. Remove the 6 nuts and No. 1 rear bumper reinforcement.
