Disassembly [10/2015 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE FRONT LICENSE PLATE BRACKET SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the 4 screws and front license plate bracket sub-assembly.

  2. REMOVE FRONT TURN SIGNAL LIGHT ASSEMBLY LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  3. REMOVE FRONT TURN SIGNAL LIGHT ASSEMBLY RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  4. REMOVE FRONT FENDER LINER RETAINER 
    1. Disengage the claw to remove the front fender liner retainer.

      HINT: 

      Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

  5. REMOVE HOOD TO RADIATOR GRILLE SEAL 
    1. Disengage the 16 clips to remove the hood to radiator grille seal.

  6. REMOVE MILLIMETER WAVE RADAR SENSOR ASSEMBLY (w/ Toyota Safety Sense P) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  7. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the 2 screws.

    2. Disengage the 8 claws to remove the radiator grille sub-assembly as shown in the illustration.

  8. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE (OR FRONT PANEL) EMBLEM (w/o Toyota Safety Sense P) 
    1. Remove the 2 spring nuts.

    2. Disengage the 2 pins and 2 claws to remove the radiator grille (or front panel) emblem.

  9. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE (OR FRONT PANEL) EMBLEM (w/ Toyota Safety Sense P) 
    1. Remove the 2 spring nuts.

    2. Disengage the 2 pins and 2 claws to remove the radiator grille (or front panel) emblem.

  10. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE 
    1. Remove the 4 screws.

    2. Disengage the 4 claws and guide to remove the radiator grille.

  11. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER SUPPORT 
    1. Remove the 2 screws.

    2. Remove the 4 clips to remove the radiator grille support.

  12. REMOVE LOWER NO. 1 RADIATOR GRILLE 
    1. Remove the 2 screws.

    2. Disengage the 19 claws and 4 guides to remove the lower No. 1 radiator grille.

  13. REMOVE NO. 2 FRONT BUMPER STAY LH 
    1. Remove the bolt.

    2. Using a screwdriver, disengage the clip to remove the No. 2 front bumper stay LH as shown in the illustration.
  14. REMOVE NO. 2 FRONT BUMPER STAY RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  15. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER ENERGY ABSORBER 
    1. Disengage the 2 guides to remove the front bumper energy absorber.

  16. REMOVE NO. 2 FRONT BUMPER SUPPORT SPACER SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Disengage the clamp.

    2. Remove the 3 bolts.

    3. Disengage the guide to remove the No. 2 front bumper support spacer sub-assembly.

  17. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER REINFORCEMENT 
    1. Disengage the 4 clamps.

    2. Remove the 6 bolts and front bumper reinforcement.
