Glass Breakage Sensor Circuit [10/2014 - ]: Procedure
- READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM (GLASS BREAKAGE SENSOR DETECTION)
HINT:
Performing the following procedure will change the theft deterrent system to "ALARM SOUNDING STATE" (Refer to SYSTEM DESCRIPTION [10/2014 - ] ).
- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
- Turn the power switch on (IG).
- Turn the Techstream on.
- Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Main Body / Data List.
- According to the display on the Techstream, read the Data List.
- Turn the power switch on (IG), then off.
- Set the theft deterrent system to "ARMED STATE" (Refer to SYSTEM DESCRIPTION [10/2014 - ] ).
- Check that the security indicator light changes from illuminated to blinking.
- Tap on the glass breakage sensor microphone with your finger.MAIN BODY

- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (AUXILIARY BATTERY - GLASS BREAKAGE SENSOR ECU - BODY GROUND)
- Disconnect the E23 glass breakage sensor ECU connector.
- Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
