Removal [10/2014 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE LOWER NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL AIRBAG ASSEMBLY 

    (Refer to REMOVAL [10/2014 - ] )

  2. REMOVE LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 37

  3. REMOVE REMOTE ENGINE STARTER ECU WITH BRACKET (w/o Glass Breakage Sensor) 
    1. Disconnect the connector.

    2. Remove the nut.
    3. Disengage the guide.
    4. Disengage the clamp and remove the remote engine starter ECU with bracket.

  4. REMOVE GLASS BREAKAGE SENSOR ECU WITH REMOTE ENGINE STARTER ECU (w/ Glass Breakage Sensor) 

    See step  4

  5. REMOVE REMOTE ENGINE STARTER ECU 
    1. w/o Glass Breakage Sensor:
      1. Remove the bolt and bracket.

    2. w/ Glass Breakage Sensor
      1. Remove the bolt and glass breakage sensor ECU.

    3. Disengage the claw and remove the remote engine starter ECU as shown in the illustration.
