Security Indicator Light Does not Blink [10/2014 - 10/2015]: Procedure

1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
2. Turn the power switch on (IG).
3. Turn the Techstream on.
4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Smart Key / Active Test.
5. Perform the Active Test according to the display on the Techstream.

   The security indicator light operates normally.

OK 

REPLACE CERTIFICATION ECU (SMART KEY ECU ASSEMBLY) 

(Refer to REMOVAL [10/2014 - ] )

Result: 

NG

1. Disconnect the E6 security indicator light (telltale light assembly) connector.
2. Disconnect the E24 security indicator light (navigation ECU sub-assembly) connector*1.
3. Disconnect the E6 security indicator light (radio and display receiver assembly) connector*2.
4. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   E24-3 (LP) - D109-8 (IND)*1	Always	Below 1 Ω
   E6-3 (LP) - D109-8 (IND)*2	Always	Below 1 Ω
   E24-3 (LP) or D109-8 (IND) - Body ground*1	Always	10 kΩ or higher
   E6-3 (LP) or D109-8 (IND) - Body ground*2	Always	10 kΩ or higher

   • *1: for Navigation Receiver Type
   • *2: for for Radio and Display Type

Result: 

NG 

REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

Result: 

OK

1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
