Inspection [10/2014 - ]: Procedure

  1. INSPECT SEAT HEATER ASSEMBLY (FOR LH SIDE SEATBACK) 
    1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      J28-1 - D-1 Always Below 1 Ω
      J28-2 - D-2 15 to 30 °C (59 to86 °F) 3.88 to 4.75 Ω
      J28-2 - D-3 Always Below 1 Ω
      TEXT IN ILLUSTRATION

      *a Component without harness connected
      (Seat Heater Assembly (for LH Side Seatback))

      If the result is not as specified, replace the seat heater assembly (for LH side seatback).

  2. INSPECT SEAT HEATER ASSEMBLY (FOR RH SIDE SEATBACK) 
    1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      K11-1 - B-1 Always Below 1 Ω
      K11-2 - B-2 15 to 30 °C (59 to86 °F) 3.88 to 4.75 Ω
      K11-2 - B-3 Always Below 1 Ω

      *a Component without harness connected
      (Seat Heater Assembly (for RH Side Seatback))

      If the result is not as specified, replace the seat heater assembly (for RH side seatback).
