Inspection [10/2014 - ]: Procedure

  1. INSPECT SEAT HEATER ASSEMBLY (FOR LH SIDE CUSHION) 
    1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      1 - 2 Always Below 1 Ω
      1 - 3 15 to 30°C (59 to 86°F) 3.75 to 4.58 Ω
      TEXT IN ILLUSTRATION

      *a Component without harness connected
      (Seat Heater Assembly (for LH Side Cushion))

      If the result is not as specified, replace the seat heater assembly (for LH side cushion).

  2. INSPECT SEAT HEATER ASSEMBLY (FOR RH SIDE CUSHION) 
    1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      1 - 2 Always Below 1 Ω
      1 - 3 15 to 30°C (59 to 86°F) 3.75 to 4.58 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, replace the seat heater assembly (for RH side cushion).
