Removal [10/2014 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to REMOVAL [10/2014 - ] 

  2. DISCONNECT FRONT SEATBACK BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY

  3. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER CUSHION SHIELD

  4. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD (w/o Seat Position Memory System) 

    See step  9 See step  9

  5. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD (w/ Seat Position Memory System) 

    See step  10 See step  10

  6. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    See step  20 See step  20

  7. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD 
    1. Disengage the 2 clamps.

    2. w/ Seat Heater System:
      1. Disengage the clamp.

      2. Disconnect the connector.
      3. Disconnect the 2 connectors.

      4. Disengage the 3 clamps.

    3. Disengage the claw and 2 clamps to separate the front seat airbag assembly wire harness.

    4. Disconnect the connector.

    5. Disengage the hook.

    6. Disengage the 2 fasteners.

    7. Turn back the separate type front seatback cover.
    8. Disengage the 2 hooks.

    9. w/ Climate Control Seat System:
      1. Disengage the 6 clips to separate the seatback climate control blower from the separate type front seatback pad.

    10. Disengage each claw and remove the 2 front seat headrest supports.

    11. Remove the separate type front seatback cover with pad.
  8. REMOVE SEATBACK CLIMATE CONTROL BLOWER (w/ Climate Control Seat System)

  9. REMOVE LUMBAR SUPPORT ADJUSTER ASSEMBLY (for Driver Side) 
    1. Disengage the clamp.

    2. Disconnect the connector.
    3. w/ Climate Control Seat System:
      1. Disengage the clamp.

    4. Disengage the 2 claws.

    5. Disengage the 2 guides to remove the lumbar support adjuster assembly.
  10. REMOVE LUMBAR SUPPORT ADJUSTER ASSEMBLY (for Front Passenger Side) 
    1. Disconnect the connector.

    2. Disengage the 2 claws.

    3. Disengage the 2 guides to remove the lumbar support adjuster assembly.
  11. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK HOOK
