Terminals Of Ecu [10/2014 - 10/2015]

  1. CHECK INSTRUMENT PANEL JUNCTION BLOCK ASSEMBLY AND MAIN BODY ECU (MULTIPLEX NETWORK BODY ECU)

    *A Main Body ECU (Multiplex Network Body ECU) with 3 Connectors - -
    *1 Main Body ECU (Multiplex Network Body ECU) - -
    *a 3 Connectors - -
    1. Disconnect the instrument panel junction block assembly and main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) connectors.
    2. Measure the voltage on the wire harness side connector according to the value(s) in the table below.
      Terminal No. (Symbol) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      3D-27 (BECU) - Body ground V - Body ground Auxiliary battery power supply Power switch off 11 to 14 V
      3E-1 - Body ground W - Body ground Auxiliary battery power supply Power switch off 11 to 14 V

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction in the wire harness.

    3. Measure the resistance on the wire harness side connector according to the value(s) in the table below.
      Terminal No. (Symbol) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      3B-7 (GND1) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω
      D5-3 (GND2) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction in the wire harness.

    4. Reconnect the instrument panel junction block assembly and main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) connectors.
    5. Measure the voltage and check for pulses according to the value(s) in the table below.

      If the result is not as specified, the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) or instrument panel junction block assembly may be malfunctioning.

        Tool setting 5 V/DIV., 5 ms./DIV.

        HINT: 

        If the ambient light becomes brighter, width A becomes narrower.

  2. CHECK COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY

    1. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Turn signal switch in left turn position Below 1 V
      D9-20 (SW) - Body ground BE - Body ground Turn switch signal Power switch on (IG), turn LH and RH switch off 11 to 14 V

  3. CHECK POWER MANAGEMENT CONTROL ECU

    1. Disconnect the A53 power management control ECU connector.
    2. Measure the voltage on the wire harness side connector according to the value(s) in the table below.
      Terminal No. (Symbol) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      A53-15 (BL) - Body ground W - Body ground Back-up light signal Power switch on (IG), shift lever not in R Below 1 V
      Power switch on (IG), shift lever in R 11 to 14 V

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction in the wire harness.
