Stereo Component Amplifier Power Source Circuit [10/2014 - ]: Procedure
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (STEREO COMPONENT AMPLIFIER ASSEMBLY POWER SOURCE)
- Disconnect the E7 stereo component amplifier assembly connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition E7-7 (GND) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω - Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Voltage
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition E7-4 (+B) - E7-7 (GND) Power switch off 11 to 14 V E7-3 (ACC) - E7-7 (GND) Power switch on (ACC) 11 to 14 V

NG
REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

- Disconnect the E7 stereo component amplifier assembly connector.
- Disconnect the I6 navigation ECU sub-assembly connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition E7-9 (AMP) - I6-9 (AMP) Always Below 1 Ω E7-9 (AMP) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

- INSPECT STEREO COMPONENT AMPLIFIER ASSEMBLY
- Reconnect the I6 navigation ECU sub-assembly connector.
- Disconnect the E7 stereo component amplifier assembly connector.
- Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
