Stereo Component Amplifier Power Source Circuit [10/2014 - ]: Procedure

1. Disconnect the E7 stereo component amplifier assembly connector.
2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   E7-7 (GND) - Body ground	Always	Below 1 Ω

3. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Voltage

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   E7-4 (+B) - E7-7 (GND)	Power switch off	11 to 14 V
   E7-3 (ACC) - E7-7 (GND)	Power switch on (ACC)	11 to 14 V

Result: 

NG 

REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

Result: 

OK 

See step  2

1. Disconnect the E7 stereo component amplifier assembly connector.
2. Disconnect the I6 navigation ECU sub-assembly connector.
3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   E7-9 (AMP) - I6-9 (AMP)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   E7-9 (AMP) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher

Result: 

NG 

REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

Result: 

OK

1. Reconnect the I6 navigation ECU sub-assembly connector.
2. Disconnect the E7 stereo component amplifier assembly connector.
3. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Voltage

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   E7-9 (AMP) - E7-7 (GND)	Power switch on (ACC)	8 V or higher
