Mute Signal Circuit between Stereo Component Amplifier and Telematics Transceiver [10/2014 - ]: Procedure

1. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Voltage

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   I135-17 (MUTE) - Body ground	Power switch on (ACC) Audio system playing → Emergency call mode	2.0 V or higher → Below 1 V

OK 

PROCEED TO NEXT SUSPECTED AREA SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE 

(Refer to PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE [10/2014 - 10/2015] or PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE [10/2015 - ] )

Result: 

NG

1. Disconnect the E10 stereo component amplifier assembly connector.
2. Disconnect the I135 DCM (telematics transceiver) connector.
3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   E10-24 (TMUT) - I135-17 (MUTE)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   E10-24 (TMUT) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher

Result: 

NG 

REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

Result: 

OK

1. Disconnect the I135 DCM (telematics transceiver) connector.
2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
