Mute Signal Circuit between Navigation Receiver and Telematics Transceiver [10/2014 - ]: Procedure

1. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Voltage

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   I135-17 (MUTE) - Body ground	Power switch on (ACC) Audio system playing → Emergency call mode	3.5 V or higher → Below 1 V

1. Disconnect the I6 navigation ECU sub-assembly connector.
2. Disconnect the I135 DCM (telematics transceiver) connector.
3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   I6-8 (TMUT) - I135-17 (MUTE)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   I6-8 (TMUT) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher

Result: 

NG 

REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

Result: 

OK

1. Reconnect the I6 navigation ECU sub-assembly connector.
2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
